100 Killed In Syria Today, Red Cross Fails To Negotiate Cease Fire

Twenty-four hours after the Red Crescent were able to negotiate the evacuation of more than twenty people in the city of Homs , Syria is experiencing one of the most blood soaked days of the conflict.  More than 100 people have died today, according to opposition sources, after the Red Cross failed to negotiate a temporary ceasefire to provide much needed supplies for the city of Homs.  Sources close to the city have stated that food and medical supplies are running out, and with no cease fire agreement, there is little hope for replenishment on the horizon.
