I was tired of seeing all the innocent people getting killed by these types of guns. I would see it on the TV and hear it on the radio on my way to work. It becomes a norm in today’s society. When I would hear a mass murder or see one on TV I would go to work and tell everyone what happened and felt sad for a couple of hrs and I would said to myself, well another mass killing, back to work. When I heard about the mass shooting about Newtown while coming to work I said to myself is this a joke or did I not hear it right. When I got to work my fears where affirmed. I have heard in my life (I am 53yrs old) a lot of mass killings but this one made me cry. Every time I heard about the Newtown shooting I get mad and start to cry again. I can’t help it. One or two wks pass and I was going to the store and getting things so I could watch the playoffs. I was excited to see my team in the playoffs. Then I glance over and see this magazine on the rack and on the whole front cover where the pictures of all the dead children and teachers. I become depressed and angry again and did not give a sh… if my team won or not. I always kept my mouth shut about people at work that where for guns. Now, I open up on them and tell them what I think. I will not keep my mouth shut no more. We need to keep these simi automatics illegal. Thank you Mr. President for doing something that we can all do together. It is up to use as voters. I will never vote for anyone who does not believe in gun control.
