New Hampshire Fires Back at Trump’s False Voting-Fraud Claims

By

Bipartisan New Hampshire officials fired back this week after White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller doubled down on false claims of voter fraud. On Sunday, Miller told George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s This Week: “Having worked before on a campaign in New Hampshire, I can tell you that this issue of busing voters into New Hampshire is widely known by anyone who’s worked in New Hampshire politics.” He added, “It’s very real, it’s very serious.” In response, state officials on both sides of the political aisle chimed in with corrections. “There’s zero evidence to support it,” former state GOP chairman Fergus Cullen said. “It’s preposterous, completely untrue, delusional.” Ray Buckley, chairman of the New Hampshire Democratic Party, said, “For Mr. Miller to make up such an outrageous lie is unacceptable for anyone who works in the White House.” He added, “It’s an outrageous attack on the people of New Hampshire. We run among the finest operations in the first-in-the-nation primary and in our general election.” The White House has not produced any evidence to support claims of widespread voter fraud in New Hampshire or elsewhere.
