‘You’re lying’ — Alleged stalker rages at Alec Baldwin in court

After shouting at a Post photographer and hurling insults at him on his way into court, Alec Bladwin took the stand Tuesday and flatly denied having an affair with the French Canadian woman charged with stalking him — prompting her to angrily brand him a liar.
“No,” Baldwin replied when Manhattan prosecutor Zachary Stendig asked if he had a sexual relationship with shapely blonde Genevieve Sabourin.
“You’re lying” Sabourin shouted in her latest outburst of several in the Manhattan Supreme Court case. “That’s not true!”
Baldwin described meeting Sabourin while on a film shoot in Montreal in 2000.
The “30 Rock” star testified that he didn’t see her again until 2010 when he went to lunch in New York with filmmaker Martin Bregman and Sabourin, whom he described as the “Scarface” producer’s mistress.
“Marty called me told me he needed my help. That Marty Bregman was ending his relationship with her. He wanted to help get her a job. She wanted to be an actress — he wanted me to meet her to help with her potential acting career,” Baldwin said.
The movie star turned MSNBC host then testified that he wanted to try to help his friend – an influential producer whose credits also included other Al Pacino hits like “Carlito’s Way” and “Dog Day Afternoon.”
“Bregman asked me to do it as a favor. I wanted to handle the situation as delicately as I could knowing this was Marty’s girlfriend. The issue as I saw then was that she was 39 years old at the time, she was a French Canadian with a discernible accent… and the most I could offer her [was] advice on was where to study acting,” Baldwin testified.
Baldwin claimed the pair only met once, but admitted that they exchanged phone calls and emails for about a month.
Asked about the nature of the calls, Baldwin said she told him she didn’t want to be with Bregman anymore and wanted a relationship with him.
“I want to see you again. When can I see you again? I want us to be together. I want to be with you,” Baldwin describing her as having said.
He said she left repeated voicemails that grew more alarming in nature.
“They varied wildly, either her sobbing and crying and begging me to call her and to commence this relationship with her or it would be her laughing and giggling and bubbling, talking about what we were going to do together in her imagination…the messages would sometimes be five minutes apart…she sounded very inebriated.”
He said she eventually left hundreds of messages, prompting another outburst.
“No!” Sabourin shouted.
“It was nightmarish,” the actor said. “The final ones were threats to myself and my wife [Hilaria] … ‘I’m going to get into your wife’s classroom, I’m going to penetrate the building you live in,’ ” Sabourin said, according to his testimony.
He said he deleted many of her emails, prompting Sabourin to shout: “You delete women after sex!”
At one point Baldwin got teary-eyed while describing how frightened he was when Sabourin showed up at his house shortly after he proposed to Hilaria, prompting him to call the cops
“I got home the day of getting engaged to my wife, the defendant pulled up to my house in a car. It was a rainy day … my wife and I were sitting in the living room… She started to get out of the car and [I] held up my hand to say wait… My wife was worried and was worried this very thing would happen… We never, never, never had this problem before,” he said.
“I told my wife not to come to the door I didn’t know if she had a gun or a weapon and I called the police.”
He said in April 2012 she showed up again when he and Hilaria were at a screening at Lincoln Center, and that he asked a security guard to escort her out.
Earlier Tuesday, Baldwin lost his cool and hurled more insults at a Post photographer as he made his way into Manhattan Criminal Court for the trial.
“Tough guy!” and “You’re a liar!” the hotheaded actor spat at G.N. Miller, a retired NYPD detective who was snapping photos as Baldwin emerged from a car, wearing dark shades despite the overcast, snowy weather.
