[VIDEOS] Florida Dunn trial Jurors Speak: ‘I believed he was guilty’

One of the jurors who convicted Michael Dunn of attempted murder after he fired into an SUV during a fatal argument believes he should have been convicted of first-degree murder.

“I believed he was guilty,” Valerie said in an interview with ABC’s “Nightline” early Wednesday. Also known as Juror No. 4, she asked that her full name not be given in order to protect her identity.

From the information we have, the jury was 10-2 on a conviction on the first count. The 10 members of the jury that wanted a conviction on Count 1, could not convince the other two to change from their position of self defence. Seems the SYG (stand your ground) jury instruction played a big part in getting Dunn a hung jury on this count..

Here is another Juror’s thoughts from CNN, says “Case was not about race, it was about justice.”
