Playboy to Stop Nudity Publishing [VIDEO]

The magazine that helped pioneer the sexual revolution in the United States is ending its practice of publishing nude photos of women, The New York Times reported Monday. Hugh Hefner, the founder and editor in chief of Playboy, agreed to the radical change as a part of a redesign slated to be unveiled next March. Playboy will continue to feature women in provocative poses, but they will no longer be fully nude. The magazine is aiming to compete with younger outlets like Vice, said the company’s chief executive, Scott Flanders. Playboy will also still feature a “PG-13” version of the Playmate of the Month, but plans to move to a cleaner, more modern style, chief content officer Cory Jones said.
