Sanders Hints the Primary Race Is Over [VIDEO]

Bernie Sanders dropped a hint Tuesday night that he won’t have enough delegates to beat Hillary Clinton, telling a crowd he plans to head to the Democratic National Convention to continue fighting for a “progressive party platform”—not the nomination—in July. However, the Vermont senator said he will remain in the race “until the last vote is cast.” But Sanders added his “campaign is going to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia with as many delegates as possible to fight for a progressive party platform.” The senator then outlined his calls for a higher minimum wage, trade-policy reform, breaking up Wall Street, and a Medicare-for-all health-care system. Sanders’s remarks came after Clinton won four of the five states that held primaries Tuesday.
